 Protect our children and provide
them an education and an opportunity
For too long, West Virginia has been near the worst in the country  for
family income, tax burden, job-killing lawsuits, and child abuse deaths.

Politicians have put themselves first… and our great state, many families and children have suffered as a result.

It’s time to give the kids a future in West Virginia. We need to make a change. Not a small change, but a significant change.

To protect our children, we must provide them an education and an opportunity right here at home.

We need your help to make sure all West Virginia children have the state they deserve.
We need a state government that will educate and protect the children as they grow.

We need a state that will have jobs when they are ready to work. It’s not too much to ask.
We just need to educate the public to help make sure it happens...

Immediate and total removal of the
 five percent food tax

What the politicians don't tell you is that the state has a budget surplus of several hundred million dollars.

It's unthinkable that Charleston politicians won't remove the unfair tax on food.

Instead of removing the entire tax last year, the Legislative leaders would only allow a 1% tax Food Tax reduction.
This tax was put on all at once in a single bill in 1989.

It should come off all at once now while the politicians have a surplus of several hundred million dollars. Baby food should not be taxed. More money back in the family budget means more opportunities for our kids.

Lawsuit reform to ensure our jobs and doctors stay here in West Virginia

What the politicians don't want you to know is that West Virginia's legal system is ranked last in the nation for litigation fairness.

Lawsuit abuse has chased away thousands of jobs and almost chased away our doctors.

West Virginia needs more job opportunities,  not more lawsuits.

Parents should be notified by a doctor before a
secret abortion is performed on their child

What the politicians don't want you to know is that doctors are currently allowed to perform abortions on underage girls without the parents knowing.

Again, during the past legislative session, the majority of our House of Delegates chose to ignore the rights and wishes of parents by refusing to take a vote to require parental notification by any physician before performing an abortion on a child under the age of 18.

Drunk Drivers should be kept off the roads

What the politicians don't want you to know is that many of our current legislators voted for a bill that would allow drunk drivers who plead "no contest" to keep their licenses and keep driving.

This is a gimmick to allow the elite drunk driver who can afford fancy lawyers to avoid losing their license.

Immediate passage of tougher penalties to protect our kids from sex offenders

What the politicians don't want you to know is that West Virginia leads the nation in child abuse and neglect deaths per capita.

"Children in West Virginia are more likely to die
from abuse and neglect than kids in any other state, according to data from the federal
Department of Health and Human Services."

"West Virginia led the nation in the percentage of kids
who died from abuse and neglect between
2001 and 2003."
